The book 13 Reasons Why is my number one book for the century. It's the authors first book, and guess what?!
He has a blogspot! discomermaids.blogspot.com OMG, right?
Well, yes, and no. It's shared with two other people (family? friends? who knows.) and he doesn't have anything about it on there except the front cover.
Well anyway, it's an awesome book.
Here's the summary
creds to Barnesandnoble.com for the summary below.
Clay Jensen returns home from school to find a mysterious box with his name on it lying on his porch. Inside he discovers cassette tapes recorded by Hannah Baker–his classmate and crush–who committed suicide two weeks earlier. On tape, Hannah explains that there are thirteen reasons why she decided to end her life. Clay is one of them. If he listens, he'll find out how he made the list. Through Hannah and Clay's dual narratives, debut author Jay Asher weaves an intricate and heartrending story of confusion and desperation that will deeply affect teen readers.
Sounds really good right?
It is.
It is so good, that I want to go to SanFran right now and go to the workshop he went to so I can write a book just as good--if not better-- as his.
So that's my post for today.

Hey Loves
Guess what I'm doing right now? Editing my Sugarloot page.
HECK YES
So anyways, are you ready for the holidays?
Me? Not even close.
I hate homework, and it seems teachers hate holidays.
It seems like they take out all their negative holiday energy on us, and give us loads of stuff we don't need.
But, Cest La Vie, right?
Wrong. We deserve better; working are butts off, and getting ready for the holidays. I mean COME ON people. You were once a kid, 70 billion years ago, right?
Anyways, This is my first post on this blog.
I know, you all care oh so much
[/sarcasm]
Thank God it's the weekend though, right?
We should all be thanking the good Lord upstairs that we can stay inside and drink cocoa.
I mean, think of the other people; the less fortunate, if you will.
Think of how they spend their holiday.
Makes you think, doesn't it?
Well, Think about giving them something this holiday season.
Love Me, Love Me Not,
Tori.
